Mike's natural talent, years of experience, VW Factory School Training and passion for automobiles have made him an industry icon. Mike's passion for cars has also shown him success in motor sports including winning the La Rana Desert Racing overall championship in 1993. Nyla Stickle | Office Manager
Nyla is the cheerful face that greets our friends and clients. She's more than an office manager, She's wife to Mike, Mother to Josh and friend to all. Since 1986 she has worked hard to make our clients feel comfortable and welcome. Since the first day she stepped in, she's done whatever it takes to get the job done.
Josh Stickle | Service Manager
Long time customers recall Josh as a kid playing in the grease around the shop and sweeping floors for lunch money. Josh absorbed more than grease and oil in those years, he also soaked up the passion and knowledge that has been the foundation of Mike's success. Josh's desire to carry on the proud tradition of exceptional customer satisfaction comes through in everything he does. Josh is clearly committed to keeping Mike's Foreign Car the best German car repair facility in Orange County. Josh is ASE certified engine specialist. In addition to Josh's love and knowledge of classic VW's he knows that technology is the future and works hard to stay abreast of the latest technologies, diagnostic tools and techniques.
Matt Baxter | Technician
Matt joined the team 2009. His positive attitude makes him a great fit here. Matt moved to California in 2003 from Pennsylvania, which is where he was raised. He has a degree in automotive repair from Automotive Training Center in Pennsylvania. Matt is ASE certified. He has over ten years in the automotive industry as a Technician for Volkswagen Inc. He attained Expert Technician status through Volkswagen's training program and has the skills, knowledge and tools to fix your vehicle right the first time. Certified electrical specialist by Volkswagen, and resident Eurovan aficionado, Matt has proven to be the go to guy for all things technical. The training he received from Volkswagen gave him the ability to be a great technician!
Tim Crha | Technician
Tim has lived and worked most of his life in the Long Beach area where he completed classes in high compression gas and diesel engine repair at Long Beach City College. Self proclaimed "old guy," Tim brings over 40 years of experience with him 34 years of which was specializing in Volkswagen and Porsche. He has extensive experience building both stock and high performance engines. Tim has a remarkable attention to detail and takes great pride in his ability to deliver top quality the first time, every time. Even with all his experience Tim's greatest asset is his great attitude and team player mentality.
Travis Crawford | Technician
New to Mike's Travis is definitely not new to Volkswagen and Audi. Per Volkswagen of Germany, Travis is one of about 250 Volkswagen Master Level Certified Technicians. In addition to this he is also an ASE Certified Master Technician and an ASE Advanced Level Specialist in Engine Performance. Twice he was honored by being placed in the top 60 of "VW's Quest for the Best Technician" a program that searches worldwide for the best of the best in the industry. He has an Associate's degree in Auto Repair Technology and is up to date on all the latest Diesel and Hybrid systems. Travis's passion for the craft and desire to solve the most difficult problems combined with his eagerness to please the customer as if they are old friend makes him a perfect fit here at Mike's. To say he's the poster child for the automotive industry would be redundant because Travis actually was used on a hiring poster for Checkers auto parts many years ago and if you ask nicely he may even show you the poster.
