Awesome shop, great service and reasonable price. True masters of their craft. Highly recommend this place. They've been in buisness for a long time. One time I was replacing a CV joint myself and I lost one of the bearings. I called Mike and he gave me a free bearing with no questions asked. Now he has a customer for life.

Took my 2005 Touareg here for its 40,000 mile service. Mike and Frank are very friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile and replaced a bulb that had burnt out for no extra charge. I will be back.

Went back to Mike's recently to have my brakes checked. Dropped my car off early in the morning and it was ready way before I got out of work. Same friendly, efficient service at a great price. I also used a handy dandy coupon that I found online here @ Yelp. They happily honored my coupon giving me 10% off my services. It's good to know that trustworthy car repair shops still exist in these difficult, economic times.

This is a clean, classic VW shop with the knowledge and skill to handle your modern Dub. I usually do my own work unless I don't have time because I have developed a distrust of VW service (independent or dealer) shops, but I wouldn't hesitate to take my car to Mike's. If you love VW's and want your work done right by people who know what they are doing, this is the place. Beware of boneyard shops.

Mikes VW & Foreign Car Specialties is hands down the best VW repair shop in Orange County.I took my Jetta to (3) other shops trying to fix an ongoing problem before I was referred to them. They had diagnosed and fixed my car in less than 24 hours. They were helpful , friendly and very knowledgeable. If you have a German car of any sorts, I wouldn't go anywhere else but Mikes!

I took my '78 Westy here to have the CV joints replaced (I was on a road trip from Sacramento to Phoenix) and Mike got me in the same day and all the joints replaced withing a few hours. I didn't specify what brand CV I wanted used when I dropped the bus off and he automatically used a reputable brand (Lobro) and showed me the old, damaged CVs without me having to ask. 5000 miles later and all is well. I normally do all the work on my bus b/c I like knowing the work was done right, but after taking it to Mike's I have no concern over his and his staff's ability, plus he's a friendly guy.
